MSNBC gets a new poll
Edited on Thu Apr-01-10 06:48 AM by lovekendyl
I like how MSNBC gets a new random poll and makes a whole morning show about it, they take this obscure Marist poll and can't stop saying how bad it is for Obama, they expect the health care numbers after 13 months of distortions and outright lies about it is going to turn around after a week. Why don't they use the Research poll were it shows everything is peachy cream. Oh thats right saying the president is doing well doesn't make for a good show. Point is the Research poll or any poll is no more reliable than any other poll. I like how some producer on a slow news day trolls for polls showing bad news, just to have something for Micah to talk about bcuz without Joe she is lost.

8. She was a smug little spinning piece of work this morning.
All her efforts to "look" impartial and like she is just trying to be "fair" swirled down the drain this week as she blatantly ignored instances of violence on the right to bolster her claim that those on the left are just as bad. Including not mentioning the 9 militia members who were arrested with the 24 hour period of her moral equivalency session. And stating that the person who threatened to kill Cantor was from the left in spite of all evidence to the contrary. She really had to stretch and lie to create such her false equivalency but got lots of help from her sycophant minions.

Then this smug performance of asininely inept analysis this morning to try to say Obama is hated by everyone because his went too far with the health care was just adorable. Never mind that about 15% of those with a negative opinion is because it doesn't go far enough. I wish that these amateurs would leave analysis to those who understand it because she just sounded stupid. Like the fools that believe every right wing chain email that winds up in their in boxes.

She can cut the crap act about "trying to be fair." She is a shallow shill who has no business trying to analyze anything.

4. I wondered about that
I saw Mika desperately trying to make Obama sound like the worst failure since the final days of Jimmy Carter and I though What the hell is the Marist poll?

5. Marist College is a college in NY. The Marist Poll is from them, just like the Quinnipiac Poll is
from Quinnipiac College in CT. Marist's #'s for Obama have been as low as Rasmussen at times.

"Mr. Obama’s approval rating has been hovering in the mid-40s for several months. When Marist last asked this question in early February, 44% thought the president was doing well in office compared with 47% who did not. In December, 46% approved of his performance while 44% gave him low marks."http://maristpoll.marist.edu/331-voters-divide-over-obamas-job-performance/

Gallup, NBC Wall St. Journal, and Research 2000 all have had better #'s then Marist has. It is but one poll. Mika needs to look at them all but then her head is mostly air. I don't get MSNBC anymore thanks to Comcast taking it away (offered with digital cable only) and I don't miss it in the mornings.

9. Marist College
Located in Poughkeepsie, NY. It's a legitimate school. The name comes from the Marist Brothers, a Catholic teaching order that founded the college and which has its American headquarters in Poughkeepsie.

I graduated from a high school affiliated with the Marists, and they are on the up and up.
