1. Mrs. Greenspan brought it up at every opportunity on her show today.
You'd think she'd never heard the word before; she was oh so 'shocked'! :eyes:

20. Right after she said Biden should be aware of open mikes, she could be heard over hers
Giggling and talking while Luke Russert was doing his report from the Capitol. It sounded like a teenybopper talking with her girlfriends.

Before she criticizes the Vice President, she should check her own behavior.

5. And Cheney used it to attack someone. Biden used it to express happiness.
As in, today is a great f*cking day. And it is. :)

8. VP Biden, in a moment of pure, raw emotion told the President that this was a big fucking deal.
Just before the President signed historic reform into law.

the VP whispered in the Prez's ear that this was a big f**ing deal, and the microphones picked it up... Give it a countdown of 10.9.8. and the right wing media will be in shock, shock I say at Biden ..:)

have there been any instances of Dems behaving as rudely as the other side (fuck yourself, shouting out during speeches, etc)? I haven't read of any although I would sure be tempted if I were in their positions...

14. Funny thing is ...
Part of the GOP meme for years has been how Democrats can't relate with the average American - they'd rather sit down and have a beer with Bush than Gore (or Kerry).
Well, if VP Biden is up in NH any time soon, the first f-ing beer is on me!

17. Steve Benen wrote about that this morning too..
"BIDEN HAPPENED TO BE RIGHT.... "

March 23, 2010

.... One of the more talked about moments of the White House signing ceremony this morning also happened to be a remark unintended for the public.

Vice President Biden was introducing President Obama, and as he turned to shake the president's hand, he offered a brief message that the microphone picked: "This is a big f**king deal."

Soon after, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs tweeted, "And yes Mr. Vice President, you're right..."

And you know what? Biden is right. Fox News is trying to make a fuss about the VP's f-bomb, but let's be grown-up about this. Signing health care reform into law is a big f**king deal.

I suppose the pushback will be that the VP's language was somehow inappropriate. Nonsense. When then-Vice President Dick Cheney told Sen. Pat Leahy (D-Vt.) on the Senate floor, "Go f**k yourself," that was inappropriate.

Biden, in contrast, is endearing.
