Ford Decides Not to Run
Ford Decides Not to Run

Under intense pressure from Democratic Party officials, Harold E. Ford Jr., the former Tennessee congressman, has decided not to challenge Sen. Kirsten E. Gillibrand in the primary this fall, according to two people told of his plans.

He has told friends that, while he is convinced he could prevail against Ms. Gillibrand, he feared the winner of the primary would have little money and remain highly vulnerable to a well-financed Republican challenger at a time when the Democratic party controls the Senate by a slim majority.

7. The Bad Part is
that he will be back on MSNBC again. It was great not hearing or seeing him for a couple of months!!! I guess those gay guys he "spoke to" last week were a little too harsh on his sorry ass. (actually, no pun intended)

Don't worry Mika Mouse and Joey Scar will welcome you back and you can again sit on Uncle Pat's knee and spew forth you mediocre at best bullshit. No way he would EVER have gotten anywhere in NY, even against a relatively weak canidate...

14. This is welcome news among our droogies hereabouts.
Tweren't a Harold Ford fan to the entire group.

Ford would not have been able to shake off the ego-maniac carpetbagging right-wing tool image that he so richly deserves.

I think Gillibrand would have kicked his butt so hard he'd still be airborne 6 years hence.
