I want to hear him use the word, over and over, and I want him to jawbone the party and put something on the line of himself, to get this done. I have been so close to giving up on Obama, I pray that he will do this so I don't have to.

I desperately want to believe in this president but I am fighting a profound sense of disappointment.

2. He said something along those lines twice at the summit.
I don't know, frankly, whether we can close that gap. And if we can't close that gap, then I suspect Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and John Boehner are going to have a lot of arguments about procedures in Congress about moving forward.

We cannot have another year-long debate about this. So the question that I'm going to ask myself and I ask of all of you is, is there enough serious effort that in a month's time or a few weeks' time or six weeks' time we could actually resolve something?

And if we can't, then I think we've got to go ahead and some make decisions, and then that's what elections are for.

Further more when it was brought up early on in the discussion he didn't rule it out...twice.

Lamar brought up in his statements that he wanted Obama to drop reconciliation.

However, I get the feeling these statements might appear a bit too tame for you and you want him to ignore diplomacy to pacify your feelings. I could be wrong. In any event, in the end he was moving along those lines because you could see he got frustrated with the situation.

3. I think he made that abundantly clear at the close of yesterday's proceedings.
