Just Called My Senator (Kay Hagan) About the Bennet Petition
Edited on Thu Feb-18-10 04:52 PM by farmboy
Told the staffer that I strongly encouraged Sen. Hagan to sign the Bennet Petition; that the public option is essential to reform health care for her constituents. The staffer said that Sen. Hagan will not be signing it today because she is out of her office, but that she supports the public option.

My response: I politely said that the words were nice, but if she REALLY supports the public option she MUST sign her name to this petition because it is the last chance to really make it happen. That she should be a leader NOW and not wait to be one of the last names added. I was told my message would be passed along to the Senator.

PLEASE DO THE SAME WITH YOUR SENATORS! This is soooo important.

(Sen. Hagan's Washington DC Phone#: 202-224-6342) Hurry! Call now!

7. Yeah I did it too.
I feel like an idiot for doing it. Spend my own time on the phone, yet once again, then I read an article from someone who has always been right, saying that the White House is against the Public Option.

Here's a fact. No Public Option, I'm done.

9. Done -- three days in a row and I'll keep doing it until they sign. I also called
Hagan's office because I lived in NC when she was elected and voted for her, so I feel I had the right to call her, too. :7
