The Pentagon moves its pawns

There might be a reason it's impossible to find a picture of a U.S. President playing chess. Not to underestimate the Pentagon, which probably does have a few decent chess players notwithstanding their mentally challenged commanders in chief, but Machetera's bets are still with the Latin Americans.

It's not hard at all to find a picture of el Che or Fidel playing chess. Publicly.

You can even re-live Fidel's game with Filiberto Terrazas here.

With Evo and the FARC Weakened, Washington Begins its Checkmate Against Hugo Chávez and Rafael Correa

Heinz Dieterich - Rebelión

Translation: Machetera

1. The Checkmate Scenario

Washington has reached the following conclusions:

1. The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) have lost their operational capacity.
2. It has managed to neutralize the Evo Morales government through the creation of a parallel state in the four provinces associated with "Camba Nation."
3. Its successes in Colombia and Bolivia set the state to begin the checkmate against the governments of Hugo Chávez and Rafael Correa. This is the reason for the growing military provocations by Uribe's troops, the U.S. military forces in the Caribbean, and the reactivation of the Fourth Imperial Fleet.

Thanks for posting the article. It will always be appropriate for Latin America to live without foreign interference of ANY kind.

By the way, I read yesterday that the Croats in the Santa Cruz area, like that big dummy, Branko Marinkovic, came to the area immediately after the Second World War, because they had been Nazi collaborators in Croatia, and they had to get outta town in a hurry when the Nazi's lost.

As you recall, when Hugo Banzer was the President of Bolivia, in the 1970's, put in place through a Nixon-supported and assisted violent coup, when he instituted a torture, massacre, and disappearance-themed presidency, he drove the indigenous people off their land, and imported white South Africans in his attempt to create a "White Bolivia." He also brought white settlers from then Rhodesia. Whole lot of virulent racists in one spot at the same time to create the separatist regions built upon stolen land.

Bolivia needs to be free of these assholes.
