Venezuela's Chavez expects arrest warrant from U.S.
Strange news from Miami...

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said the U.S. government could be preparing an arrest warrant against him and some of his collaborators in a money-laundering case being processed at a federal court in Miami.

Citing the name of the federal judge overseeing the process, Joan Lenard, and other facts about the case, Chavez warned at a cabinet meeting Thursday night that it shouldn't surprise anyone if she issues a warrant for his arrest.

"Don't be surprised if it's released tomorrow that Chavez is the one laundering money and, therefore, Judge Lenard is ordering his arrest," he said, adding that warrants may also be issued to arrest vice president Elias Jaua and the minister of Planning and Finance, Jorge Giordiani.

"This is a high-level operation, which is why I am alerting the people!" Chavez warned in the meeting, broadcast on state television station Venezolana de Television.

Chavez was referring to an operation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement revealed in April, in which 15 people were arrested, most of them Venezuelan, under suspicion of laundering drug-trafficking money.

Lenard is the judge in the case.

1. the overthrow and and invasion plans are now coming together
the US will issue a warrant for Chavez. Chavez will refuse to turn himself in to US authorities. The US will use this as a pretext to invade obstensibly to arrest Chavez, but in reality to take control of the oil producing region in Zulia and Lake Maracaibo.

The US will take over the Lake Maracaibo region and cede the territory to Colombia. The Colombian-Ven border will then be east of Lake Maracaibo. The US will set up the 4th Fleet Navy base in Lake Maracaibo itself to secure both the Ven oil industry that now belongs to Colombia, and continued dominiation of all of South America.

The CIA has planted an Amish man from Pennsylvannia in the Colombian presidential race to ensure that whoever is elected, Santos or Mockus, is a puppet of the US.

The CIA has also successfully rigged the Olympics and World Cup to be held in Brazil. Brazil will therefore not intervene in the invasion as they would fear losing one or both of the Games.

Chavez will be allowed to exile in Cuba where he will be disappointed to find out everything has already been nationalized. As a consolation prize, Castro will appoint Chavez as Diaper-Changer-In-Chief to the Commandante.

2. Much needed paranoia, "internal enemy, etc.", we have to be ready because our neighbors hate us
too... Damn!

I'm still waiting to see where is the secessionist Venezuelan opposition from all over the country (wasn't that an oxymoron?) who wants to put in power the "very white landowners from the oligarchy" in a 92% urban oil state which is probably the most racially mixed in the world (not again, oxymoron?!). But the problem is that the secessionists are really smart because no one can see them from inside the country (apart for some old dumb autonomist maracuchos from Rumbo Propio who represent nobody). They're only visible to some American DUers. It's a shame because we could simply arrest them and avoid the tragedy! How strange is the world man.
