1. Nice idea....but.....
It'll be hard to get 3000 troops to go to Honduras on short notice. From a practical stand point, seeing it's late September and all, the best solution would seem to be to cut off the telephone service to the Brazilian embassy, and wall it off. Meanwhile they can commission a non binding referendum on who is more popular, Zelaya or Micheletti.

2. Smooth move, Adolfo! Of COURSE the two Latam countries which will house US troops are EXACTLY
the ones to help in Nicaragua's time of trial. Oh, yeah, and Canada. They helped so marvelously during the filthy -Bush- coup and bloodbath on Aristide.

4. Zelaya's pregnant daughter, husband trying to enter Brazilian Embassy

At this moment. Daughter is due to give birth either tonight or tomorrow.

Radio Globo is reporting this at 9:17 p.m. (8:17 p.m. Pacific)

Family accompanied by a bishop and a representative of Facusse to negotiate with Zelaya.

Globo signal cuts off when station gets calls from inside the embassy.

Padre Tamayo (who is inside) saying spirits high inside embassy, with hope, and firm. Says Zelaya awaiting Brazilian congressional delegation tomorrow.

Click on Option 3 on Globo web page. Over the air signal is down but I am getting the signal online with Option 3.

Yes, Facusse has a home in Miami, his son in Coral Gables. But no visas as far as I know.
