1. I was looking for statements earlier from Obama on the

situation in Georgia. They were late in coming, and tentative at first, growing stronger as time went on. I agree with this author that McC showed the public what they want (albeit with all tough talk that was unnecessary) -- a decisive leader in situations like this. I hope Obama understands and acknowledges this.
