Gosh Dangit!
After having to get up at 5:30 everyday, I was soooo tired last nite.
Stayed online way too late for being so tired.

So what happens? I had a dream that I was at some kind of pre-convention meeting. They were having a vote on who should be the VP. The people running the meeting were trying to tip it to Joe.
Lot's of back and forth. Never did find out who won.
It gets even weirder. I was staying in a dorm room, and my roommate was *gateley*
The dorm part comes from my daughter moving into a dorm this coming week. Gateley, you would've loved it, you were young, tall, long dark hair and thin.

After all that, I lay there awake. And all I could think was...
Richardson is going to introduce Bill Clinton, as a sign of unity. And Bill Clinton will introduce Biden, the VP. No, no, no - what about Bayh - where does he fit in? Back and forth in my mind.

Omg - Do you think the Obama camp knows that are making me crazy waiting to find out who the vp will be? I am literally dreaming about it, and losing sleep over it.

It's official - I've lost my mind. Hope I can find it somewhere. Maybe in my car :P

1. Let's just hope your mind wasn't downloaded to JIOOUs flash drive.
Why do they wait so long to announce the VP choice? Wouldn't it be helpful to have your VP campaigning, too?

2. The way I have been lately, JIOOU will probably find her flash drive before I find my brain.
:P

3. Oh, it'll turn up.
I lost mine for several months last spring. It reappeared like magic once the school year ended. As the summer draws to a close, I feel it fitting a little looser, and am quite sure there is a good chance of it slipping off on its own again soon.

;-)

5. I had one dream back in Jan. or Feb. with Biden in it.
There was some sort of picnic at his house. I think he picked up me, a few other nobodies, and some reporters at the airport and drove to his house. I don't remember much more of it, but everyone was friendly and having a good time. I think the dream was mixed up with me househunting and seeing a lot of old houses at the time.

I had a dream a few weeks ago about Obama. I and some other people were volunteering for him and for some reason went with him and Secret Service to his big hotel suite. He was working on a speech and was so absorbed he sat down on the hotel bed in a wet raincoat and kept editing it. I and some other people laughed at him and hung it up for him.

I think this was after the Europe trip? Anyway, there was some conversation about the whole question of being qualified to be commander-in-chief, etc. I said, well, there's not a standardized test for it like the MCAT - no PCAT test. Obama laughed and said, that's kind of funny, I might have to use that line. I don't know what PCAT would stand for anyway!

Telling lame jokes to a candidate in your sleep has to be a sign of political junkiehood!

10. Thanks for posting that.
Just hearing someone else is dreaming about this election makes me feel a little more sane.

7. What's especially funny is that after you woke up and remembered your dream,
you still laid there with your mind going a mile a minute.

Omg - 3 am. That in itself is nuts.

9. Oh how funny
You know, we can't be the only ones obsessing over the VP thing. No wonder things got so tense "out there" during the week. People are getting so burned out from this long election cycle. I think they need the comfort zone of knowing what the ticket will look like. Then we can all obsess over whether they will win. This is too long in one obsession mode.
