1. I heard him on Rachel yesterday, but didn't take it as a definite 'no'.

He can certainly cancel his dinner and fly home! :-)

But in answer to your question, if it's NOT Clark, I think it'll be Biden. I just don't see anyone else who has been discussed bringing the gravitas that Joe would. And now I think Obama really needs the FP heavy as his VP.

I want him for SOS (because I think that's what he wants), but will be kind of sad if he's not the VP choice.

If he doesn't get VP or SOS, I'll be pissed. If Obama gives SOS to Susan Rice, I'll be furious!

I would hope Obama would pick someone with connections to world leaders.
A great example would be Kerry. He's another one that is gifted in foreign affairs.
That is of course, if Joe is veep.
