how much time did they spend on actual information that came out of these leaks? Such information as:

- The US military purposely lied about the deaths of 15,000 people
- Thousands of Iraqis were tortured with the full knowledge of the United States
- the 2008 war in south ossetia which displaced 150,000 people and killed hundreds more occured because of a misunderstanding between Condoleeza Rice and a South Ossetian politician
- That the palestinian authority cooperated with Israel on the Gaza attack back in late 2008 which killed over 1,400 people

But no, we can't mention any of that. What's important is that there are some unconfirmed allegations against Assanage which the Swedish authorites originally said were not credible before they decided to change their mind. Thank you CNN, heck of a job.

and he drew a comparison between Assange, asking for transparency from an undisclosed location with a pending rape charge v. Clinton, overseas in Kyrgyzstan solving the world's problems (close paraphrase).

Of course, the charge against Assange is not rape and it is the State Department that has hounded him underground.

But this is the comparison that was faxed out because the outlets are all repeating it.
