We know bush has had a "whisperer" in his ear ever since 2000, or perhaps before, and it was extremely obvious during the 2004 "debates" with John Kerry. On reviewing his ability to do give and take, early in his term as governor, the really dumb "uuhhhs" that he does now are not necessarily the result of a lifetime of self education, but serve as a delay mechanism to allow him time for his puppeteers to give him answers. The loss of his ear piece put him in a terrible position of having nothing to say--having no idea of what he just said.

That drop of bird do was both revealing and hilarious.
