Sometimes I feel like it's one step forward, and two backwards

I get really pumped up somedays readinbg the threads here and I'm convinced that the end of the bfee is in sight, that only a little push will be enough, then comes some news that sends me into a tailspin and a fit of black depression.
That being said though, I think we're gaining ground, I'm feeling that by this fall if I can find the patience we will see the end of these decrepit sons o bitches damn bumpuses, I just have to deal with these doubts in between.
I have a lot of help here doing that, I have to remember that they can still punch back, and land a solid one every now and then, but they're getting weaker, before long we're going to find a vunerable spot and it will show, then it'll be the time to press the issue whatever it may be.

I remember a line from The Lord of the Rings, legolas speaking to Gimli " Up with your beard Durin's son, oft hope comes from where it's not looked for". So it may be for us, Up with your beard DU.
