Bloomberg and Scarborough on an independent ticket?

Michael Bloomberg & Joe Scarborough: The Independent Odd Couple

WASHINGTON -- There's no campaign yet, and there may never be, but New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and MSNBC's morning talk-show host Joe Scarborough have begun trying to figure out whether they could be an independent presidential ticket in 2012 -- and, if so, who the better man to bet on would be.

1. Sure .......... half the ticket would be a man that killed an aide
in his office, made an alibi, and then hired a corrupt ME

3. Joe is Arianna's buddy
So every column or article that is about him is highly moderated (i.e. censored).

14. Lot of people protecting Scarborough for some reason lately
Jon Stewart left Scar off his hit list for some reason too.

I sure wish Rachel Maddow had asked Stewart who made the final decision on who made it(or didn't), onto his hit list?

16. Well Stewart is headed to the dark side
so I'm not surprized that he didn't go after Scarborough.

4. If the media wants it bad enough......
with the help of fools, we may get just that.

5. Bloomberg subverted the will of the people for a third term
so he could cover-up the financial mess he made in his first two terms. Scarborough never meet a GOP talking point he didn't parrot and rants about cutting 'middle class' entitlements to give tax relief to the rich.

What a team!

8. You bet they will
The media is eager to buy into this myth of "independents", because in. it will split Democrats voters, while the GOP can safely float teabag candidates, for further reference, see Florida.

9. I say let them go for it... it will split the GOP vote.
They are both Republicans - while the majority of Obama voters will vote for a second Obama term. And think of all the new voters in high school now, who will want to cast their first-ever vote for Obama.

Hell, I might even send Bloomberg a few bucks, to encourage them.

10. Huffington Post is becoming more and more irrelevant and Fineman helps doing that.

Scarborough may be happy to raise his profile, but he is not going to run. Huffington is the new Drudge.

15. Joe's already said he's not running
Hell, Limbaugh has a better chance of winning national office running as a Nazi than Joe does even running as an independent.

11. Wonder how Joe will handle the question about the girl's death? I mean I read
somewhere some girl died in his office. Anyone know about it? Is it true.

if you search DU there are many other references...sorry I don't have the details

..but I don't like Scarborough, he's nothing more than an opportunist and a liar...so I keep the story going because it seems they have been successful at hushing this up

13. Fine...That Gets Him Off My Teevee...
Not that I care to watch that smug douchenozzle in the first place. If he becomes a declared candidate that would mean he'd have to give up his TV gig for the duration. Not a bad trade-off. Just cause the beltway and New York media love Bloomberg doesn't mean too many of us outside those circles give a shit about either of them. Haven't we just seen how self-financing mean electoral failure...gotta find a sugar daddy like the Koch's or Ricketts to bankroll ya.

17. I don't know about Bloomberg
but Joe protesteth too much. I think he's been thinking about this for quite awhile. He's tried to appear more moderate for quite awhile, not criticizing Dems as much, talking about them more politely, being more polite to guests, holding special events talking about important issues (recently did one with Bloomberg in NYC).
Oh, and he started coloring his hair about a year ago too.

I think the Fineman article, and Joe's protesting is to get people interested and behind them.
