$7 billion a month
"In fact, the war is costing on the order of $7 billion a month, a sum that is still being borrowed and adding nearly $100 billion a year to the already-burgeoning national debt. Yet in all the talk in all the campaigns in the hustings about the dangers of the federal budget deficit, hardly any candidates fingered the war as economically unsustainable."

=======================

Let's extend tax breaks for multi-millionaires, raise SS and Medicare eligibility to 70 years of age...yeah...that's the ticket.

1. And that is just Afghanistan. Iraq, Pakistan and Yemen should be added
as well.

We find the money for our many wars. Fuck the poor, fuck the elderly, fuck the unemployed, fuck the school. All hail the greatness of war!

2. What a fucking outrage.
And what can any one person do? Especially someone without a public name, without any clout?

I feel like a grain of sand, about to be washed away by this wave of carnage.

It makes me sick.

And our leaders just don't care. They don't.

Recommended.

3. Yep. How 'bout some WAR-sterity before AUsterity? UK is considering not having AN aircraft carrier
... and we can't even TALK about getting out a huge, increasingly pointless war, plus our remaining colonization of Iraq, plus the excalating drone attacks in Pakistan.

ENOUGH all freaking ready.
