I finally get a chance to catch some time on DU - and I read Skinner's thread on the cave - watch KO discuss the cave-in. I turn on my t.v. - and Tucker Carlson is on one channel, and Lou Dobbs is still on immigration on the other.

Where is a Dem to turn?

7. I know. It's like nothing has changed. I listen to NPR's ATC on the way

to and from work.

They are all but mute on the goings on. A short 4 minute blurb on Goodling. No depth. Someone hands a "reader" some copy and on the air it goes.

Lately I have heard some of the saddest, rancid, putrid, meaningless stories. Meanwhile a gang of thugs and criminals are running the country into the ground. It is embarrassing when you consider what NPR and ATC's roots were.

I can only imagine what TV is like. That's why I don't watch it. Lately I have had to limit my exposure to ATC as well.
