Well I have not listened to Randi in years
mostly been doing the MSNBC shtick...

Glad she is still around, bright gal.

I know some people don't like her. Nor do they like Hartman or KO... that is life... but there was a time when it was her and Malloy that kept my sanity... living in a blue state with only RW radio is situation normal, but we did not have KO either.

I do hope we are not going back to that, but it would not be shocking any more... it really would not.

1. I enjoy Randi. I like ANY liberal firebrand on the air. ANY of 'em.
'Cause they're so few and far between and we need every last molecule of them against the avalanche of wrong-wingers.

Shitty day to end a shitty week. Glad it's over (uh...I HOPE it's over). Listening to Mike Malloy tonight when I ran a couple of errands helped a little. This is awful! I actually deleted a couple of posts from people on Facebook who were weighing in on how Olbermann deserved it. FUCK 'em. It's MY Facebook page and I don't feel like suffering any opposing views on there!

2. Green 960 has an excellent stream all day.
Randi Rhodes, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy and a fairly new guy called Karel are on throughout the day and evening. Then late night they have Alan Colmes, who's okay I guess but I still think of how he was as sidekick to Hannity and meh....

With that kind of lineup you can sorta do without the TV.

3. I love listening to Randi, especially after elections. She has been one of the only people
that has been constantly telling her listeners all that this administration has accomplished.

She drives me crazy too - always talking over people she disagrees with, and always making everything about her.... but she is one of the great progressive voices out there.

4. She's sharp and knows her stuff. I don't like listening to her yell at callers, but
I sure learn a lot from her. Like Rachel, she explains things very well.

6. IMO, Randi is the best of them all.

She does her homework, that's for sure. Love that she takes on complex issues and debunks the media BS from the left and right.

Unfortunately, I have to podcast her, since I only have access to wall to wall RWcorp media in my region.

On edit: just resumed today's 3rd hour on podcast, and Randi's engineer cut in to tell Randi that they had to switch to recorded replay because they just got a bomb threat. Anybody know what happened? Just when she was getting into the nitty gritty of the Olbermann/Comcast/NBC analysis. Hope all is okay.
