I can not think of a faster way for them to boost the ratings..

They actually try to play the straight-reporting game, however thinly veiled.

3. I highly suspect there was a no-compete clause in Olberman's contract.
If he is suspended from making brodcasts... he is not necessarily fired.

Where KO can go to work immediately afterward is dependant on the conditions of his breakoff with MSNBC.

8. This will be a test for him ... If he quits, the non-compete goes away
Hopefully he wouldn't do that until he has another
gig lined up. Wolfie is getting pretty old so maybe
there would be room at CNN for KO. (Does Ted Turner
still have any pull over there?)
