Political spending has a funny way of going right back into the pockets of political contributors.

We need an office. I know a guy with a place for rent.
We need office equipment. I know a guy at my country club who will cut us a deal.
We need printed materials. I know a guy with a printing business.

Very little of it has to trickle down (excuse the expression) into the real economy if you do it "right".
