11. You are welcome. I am sick of people swallowing this crap.
From Bill White's campaign, and thanks to DUer blogslut:

For those who will be following election results, beginning with the release of the early vote sometime before 8 pm or so: we expect to be weaker in the early vote than the election day vote. And also be wary of any computer projections of a win or loss--these projections are based on historical patterns and our grassroots effort will make those type of projections unreliable in this contest.

14. What's sad for you is even worse for me
because I live in TX. My husband, son and I all voted for White, but it's awfully hard to get Democrats elected in Texas. However, TX democrats deserve a bit of sympathy from all of you, as Texas Democrats are made of pretty strong stuff, or they couldn't live in such a red state. White was our best candidate since Ann Richards. Still love Ann.

http://enr.sos.state.tx.us/enr/results/nov02_154_county226.htm?x=0&y=0&id=44

Says he has 58% of the vote. Is it that all the cities are in or something?

24. That's
just Travis County. Austin area. Not surprising he won there. Unfortunately it's a speck of blue in the middle of teabagger insanity.

State wide he only has 40%.

Fuck!
