Western New York: Turnout far exceeding 2006 levels.
In Orchard Park, a suburb of Buffalo, at noon there had been 511 voters. That compares to 604 at the same time on Election Day 2008, and 394 in 2006.

4. Orchard Park has a slight Republican edge.
7,273 Dems, 3,967 "blanks" (independents), 8,225 Republicans, 459 registered Conservatives, 954 members of the Independence Party.

5. Paladino's going to sweep WNY no matter what.
He'll probably win Erie County, which is 60/40 Democratic, by a similar 60/40 margin. But downticket is where the interest is at.
