They HELPED the teabags the WHOLE WAY!

Starting at DAY ONE they started working to bring down his poll numbers!

They let the republicans tell outrageous lies day after day while they sat there, like potted plants, and never said a word.

SO the public assumed everything they said was true because it was on the tee vee!

They KNEW what they were doing and they planned it out!

Now they are acting like they're innocent. Well fuck that. Media Matters has documented the whole thing.

"Being fair" is not an excuse for letting people tell outrageous LIES that can be debunked in 30 seconds on Google! The "news" media is supposed to be giving factual information to the public. They haven't done that in DECADES!

I hope someone writes a book and gets it out there quickly.

This evil deception by the media has been the worst thing they've ever done!

I really hope this is the final nail in their coffin!

3. Agree 100%, but a book won't help with this totally dumbed-down country.
The Tee Vee is where most 'murcans get their ideas.

5. I don't buy it...
if it had been a black guy like Clarence Thomas they'd be propping him up like the messiah.

If it were Hillary it'd be the same thing assuming the present economy.

11. When the Ginny Thomas/Anita Hill thing was going on
a DUer mentioned how they experienced racist heads exploding at a local bar, when they realized while watching the TV at the bar that Justice Thomas' wife was white.

I can also recall recently here how many conservatives were saying black republican candidates were "whining" when they dared to complain that they were not getting support from the GOP for their races.

6. They created the baggers
Edited on Mon Nov-01-10 11:10 AM by d_b
24/7 coverage of the republican base (baggers), propagated as a mainstream movement that is turning against the failed policies of the democrats...

until finally those in the middle believed it.

with Tea Baggers and Republicans.

10. Every time a reporter interviews a teabagger
Edited on Mon Nov-01-10 11:38 AM by CJCRANE
they never ask them any obvious follow up questions, such as:

* which taxes have gone up? (and then point out to them that they've actually gone down)

* which freedoms have you lost?

* do you (or have you in the past) received government-run or subsidized health care or benefits?

On edit:

not to mention:

what do you think of the role of the Koch Brothers, FreedomWorks and Fox News in funding and promoting the Tea Party movement?

14. if tax cuts to the rich create jobs, where
the heck are the jobs?

How much does your network make off of campaign adverting, and is there a direct relation between this and the non-truthful reporting and/or reporting in any depth regarding public financing of elections?

18. We need to SUPPORT the independent media
and cut the power to these corporate shills. :grr:

Go watch Free Speech TV tonight. They will have election coverage. They're on DirecTV and on DISH and they can be streamed, too.
