Other McCain Seeks National Voice,"I DO think she's a nut job
http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2010/10/28/us/AP-US-FEA-The-Other-McCain.html?_r=1&hp

When Meghan McCain said on national TV recently that Senate GOP hopeful Christine O'Donnell "is seen as a nut job," the reaction from the right was swift and furious, with critics bashing everything from McCain's lack of experience to her judgment to, well, her anatomy.

So now that she's had time to reflect — after all, she does call herself "a work in progress" — would she like to tone it down a notch?

Um, no.

"I DO think she's a nut job," the very uninhibited, 26-year-old daughter of John McCain said in an interview this week. "I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I wish more for politics, and I wish more for women in politics."

(snip)
She doesn't exactly shy away from naming names. She writes openly of her mixed feelings about Sarah Palin, and how she and her sudden, explosive star power sucked up all the oxygen in her father's campaign. Of conservative commentator Ann Coulter, she wrote on her blog last year: "I straight up don't understand this woman or her popularity. I find her offensive, radical, insulting, and confusing all at the same time."

5. At the end of the article she said that the Repubs "have issues" but the D's are a disaster.

Of course I think she's gotta it all turned around.

Hell may have to freeze over before she turns that R into a D.

2. You go girl
I may not like your politics but you take a stand
that is more than I can say for most of the people
running for office. Both sides.

3. There must've been a really cool ancestor up the lineage somewhere, in that family.
And the genes came through in this young woman.

Keep it up, Meghan.

You just keep this right up young lady.

4. Meghan McCain is right
I think these crazy tea bagger female candidates are doing a great disservice to women in politics. I feel that "as women" we have a hard enough time getting representation in government. And now we have all these female candidates who have a good shot at winning office but they are total idiots.
