A Case of Premature Evacuation in Missouri?
Recently, I had a twitter exchange with Markos Moulitsas in which he chided me for claiming that late enthusiasm was just as important as early enthusiasm. PPP's poll in Missouri proves he was right, and I was wrong. With Democrat Robin Carnahan still very much alive thanks to a narrowing enthusiasm gap, was the DSCC too quick to pull out? And if Dems had been enthused earlier, would the race have ever gotten to the point where the DSCC thought pulling the plug was a good choice?
