Eject your trash ASAP. Shit-can all the bush plants and blue dogs and clean your dirty house. You tried to play nice and it didn't work. Now try it our way...kick some ass...look back...your time and the country's time is running out. If the GOP wins we ALL lose.

1. I wonder if I should rummage around and find my
moccasin boots. I should search for a chamois cloth and make a loin cloth while I'm at it.

Yes, I'm a smart ass. I'll buck up all right.

:hide:

P.S. Yes, he should clean house and get rid of all the Bush plants and blue dogs. That would be a great start. I don't think it is going to happen though...unless he's aware that the "Mr. Nice Guy" routine isn't working at all. I don't know if he is aware of that though.

9. I was going to opt for a bow and some arrows, but

the war club wouldn't need a constant ammo refill.

I'll use the peace pipe to conk any Republicans, that get in my way on the way to vote, over the head. Good thinking.

19. And while he is at it he could tell Holder to get a spine and
especially clean house. One of Bush's people is the one who dismissed the investigation on the attorney scandal.

21. And the head of the FBI is a BushCo holdover too.
The whole "Change" thing looks like a total sham, with all the bushies still infecting the government from the White House to the Pentagon to the DOJ to the SCOTUS to Congress. All three branches are sickened and weakened by the holdovers and the corporate hacks.

Why wouldn't anyone who gives a fuck about the country, be pissed off and disgusted? Half the bastards that helped Bush ruin the country are still at work doing the same god damned things.

I don't care who's in the White House...if I don't think the people who beg me to trust them and to vote for them, are doing anything to help the country, I plan on sounding off. Anything less would be hypocritical. Maybe the Prez and the VP don't like what I have to say, but bye god they say and do a hell of a lot of things that I don't like either. They need to put on their big boy panties and act more like real democrats, IMHO.

2. "If the GOP wins we ALL lose", yet you're issuing an ultimatum?
I'm not sure, but I don't think it works that way.

3. It's sort of like the "shut up and vote"
ultimatum we're given every 2 years.

4. So don't vote if it makes you feel like you'll accomplish something.
That is your choice; you're not forced to do anything, so you can show 'em.

16. When did I say I wouldn't vote?
I've been voting since 1974 and I don't intend on stopping now but I digress. I was attempting to demonstrate how ultimatums are counter-productive, regardless of who was issuing them.

but you need to pay more attention if you think nothing is getting done...

14. I'm Going To Vote
just like I always do at every election. However, I am not going to buck up, shut up or go away. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to vote for many I truly believe in, I end up voting for the lessor of two evils. Most of who we call politicians on the left are actually right of center and the right wing is off the scale. What they call the far left is slightly left of center. The entire scale has been reset and we are left with a choice of slightly right, middle right or far right. Frankly none of those choice are thrilling.

18. And This Helps Bring People Together How???
I'm among those who are disappointed by the lack of results of the iniatives of this administration, but I also know there are many factors behind it. With an opposition that has obstructed everything since day one flanked by a corporate media that thrives on division and building up to tear down that has made it almost impossible for this administration to breath yet get anything accomplished. Yes, there are some Democrats who abet in this obstruction; coward by the brow beating of hate radio and faux noise into a near catatonic state.

The bottom line is the rushpublican game plan has been to make this administration look inept (moreso than they really are) and to divide and demoralize the Democratic base to keep voter numbers down this year. It's the only way they can win...an energized Democratic majority would easily send the GOTB packing...especially with the lot of candidates they've thrown out there. Instead we're seeing the knives out here...people all bent out of shape based on words or their own interpretations thereof. And what good does this lead to? Do you want President Obama to get prostate and beg for forgiveness? Is it tar and feathering Gibbs and Emanuel and slapping Geitner silly? I don't see how the angst here about words goes to moving any Progressive or liberal agenda.

The unfortunate outcome could be a massive blame game should the prediction of big Democratic loses in November hold true. You'll see a greater polarization within Democratic ranks as I'm sure we'll hear everyone blame everyone else for what went wrong. The administration will say how the liberals and progressives deserted them (justifying more moving to the right) while those who are critical will get even more frustrated as the combination of a party division and the GOTB doing all they can to screw things up further will make these next two years a very rough go indeed.

Fasten the seat belts and assume the position...
