At least not that I'm aware. I'm not in 100% agreement with 100% of their stances. Hell, two of them announced that they support extending the Bush tax cuts to the rich and repealing the estate tax permanently. Which is a bummer but they're a damn sight better than the alternatives. So yeah, I'm voting. And in 2 hours I'm going to be canvassing for one of the Blue Dog tax-cut-to-the-rich fanboys.

I'm in Arizona, which as you all know is ground zero of teabagger stupid. Home of Jon Kyl, Jan Brewer, Ben Quayle and Joe Arpaio. Sitting home is not an option. I say this as someone who does not look forward to the outcome our elections. But they're going to pry this state out of my cold dead fingers.

And I will goddamn whine on DU whenever I want. Also. Too.

14. I would say DU has gone insane, but it's been this way a long time.
Hell, I've been here since 2004, and I remember it being loony like that all the way back.

4. If it is a Democrat, I will vote for it.
I had intended to vote green in local elections, if I could find one, but it will be a Democratic Party ticket.

I have volunteered to do some work for Ray Lutz who is running againts Ducun Hunter Jr in California's 52nd district.

5. If it's a rotten bologna sandwich with a D by it's name, I'm voting for it.
The R's in AZ are that bad.

That said, I have a lot of really good Dems to vote for too so I'm pretty pleased about supporting my slate.

They are all upset about Socialism, and Nazi's and Birth certificates and a bunch of crap that isn't even fucking real.

Yeah they act all right... :eyes: Act is the exact right fucking word.

11. That is a good description. The comparison to teabaggers gets real tiresome.
Unlike them, the Left has legitimate criticisms. We've been proven right, over and over again.

12. Agreed.. the whole thing is getting real tiresome...
How hard is it to say "Look things are tough, I know we didn't get to everything you wanted and we are sorry for that but keep us in and we'll keep working for you."

Instead of shut up and be grateful for what we gave you. They do the same damn thing at my job. It's not "thanks for doing a good job" it's "fuck you, you are lucky to have a job". It's a great motivator :eyes:
