By DAVID M. HERSZENHORN
Published: September 24, 2010

The House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, said on Friday that Democrats in her chamber may still force a vote next week on the expiring Bush-era income-tax rate cuts, even though their counterparts in the Senate have decided not to bring the issue to the floor until after the November elections."

3. Nancy has consistently shown spine and backbone when her other colleagues have not.
I don't know if she will be successful this time, but I hope she does some serious arm-twisting of the Blue Trash.

9. I contacted her office last night to express support for this.
I made it clear that the Democrats have a winning issue here. They should force the GOP to vote against tax cuts for the middle class.
Recall Karl Rove's philosophy of making one's "strength" into a weakness?

11. Actually that would be a tactical mistake.
It will allow the Repukes the ability to look like they are voting for what is best for we the people which will take them off the hook because they know the pukes in the Senate will obstruct and try to kill it anyway.

This needs to start in the Senate Where the Pukes can make asses out of themselves then go to the house where the rest of the Pukes will have to tow the party line making asses out of them too.
