pg. 17 of the pledge "a rootin' tootin' Cowboy" pix
Edited on Fri Sep-24-10 09:17 AM by Botany
he is goona "rope some doggies"

http://pledge.gop.gov/resources/library/documents/pledg...

This pledge is a joke .... you can read it about 15 minutes ....... lots of pictures,
large font stuff, and 1/2 baked ideas

It also rules out government funding of abortions in the health care law even though it never was in it.

and these gems

Our plan puts forth a new governing agenda that reflects the priorities of the
American people – priorities that have been ignored, even mocked by the
powers-that-be in Washington – and can be implemented today.

We pledge to honor families, traditional marriage, life, and the private and faith-based
organizations that form the core of our American values.

2. The link takes me to "Page not Found"
"Republican National Conference." Maybe they realized their stupidity and took it down?

4. A perfect analogy of the Repubs.....
No substance, pictures for the willfully ignorant to look at, and big fonts. All they need to complete the picture is a page with shiny objects to look at.

5. It is True
"Our plan puts forth a new(OLD) governing agenda that reflects the priorities of the
American people – priorities that have been ignored, even mocked by the
powers-that-be in Washington – and can be implemented today."

This quote is true, it just omits the fact that "the powers that be" should be stated in the past tense. Hopefully people will understand that the supposed "knight in shining armor" that they pretend to be is in fact the one who caused the problems to begin with.

10. Kind of like "Where's Wanda" instead of "Where's Waldo"
Daily Kos put all the photos together in one montage. More white than a loaf of Wonder bread.

7. That has to be one of the most vapid documents I've ever read.
It's like a report plagiarized by a 10th grader for a high-school government class, in which the assignment was; Describe the socio-economic policies of the Bush Administration, (feel free to use lots of pretty pictures).

It the same crap we were ass-pumped with for eight disastrous years under that shit-head cowboy wanna-be. How can the people of this country be so fucking dumb?

8. A 20% tax cut for the rich and they want to balance the budget?
Pictures of a cowboy with a lasso, Mt. Rushmore, a tree lined street w/ homes, and .....

It takes all of 15 minutes to read the pledge. ...... Straight up repackaged horseshit.

A plan to create jobs, end economic
uncertainty, and make America
more competitive must be the first and
most urgent domestic priority of our
government. So first, we offer a plan to get
people working again. We will end the
attack on free enterprise by repealing jobkilling
policies and taking steps to assure
current businesses and future
entrepreneurs that the government will not
stifle their ability to compete in the global
marketplace. :puke:
