Pristine Christine did NOT "dabble in witchcraft"!
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20017178-503544.html

"I dabbled into witchcraft," O'Donnell said. "One of my first dates with a witch was on a Satanic altar, and I didn't know it. I mean, there's little blood there and stuff like that... We went to a movie and then had a midnight picnic on a Satanic altar."

As someone who actually DID dabble in witchcraft in his college years, I can absolutely assure you that witchcraft has NOTHING to do with Satanic altars!

The headlines should be reading 'Tea Party darling reveals Satanic past", except that, of course, real Satanists don't have picnics on their altars.

7. You're right. She's either a satanist or she dated a guy who

was trying to impress or trick her into thinking he was into something that he knew nothing about, or she was just flat out lying to try to impress her "fans".

Considering her long track record of lying, I would bank on the "she's lying again" option.

8. You are correct. Repubwiccan was so good. Oh well.
The Christian right should be made aware that she was involved with Satanism. Not witchcraft.

I personally think she made the whole thing up to sell the whole christian redemption
bullshit. I think she's a compulsive liar and yes she doesn't know dick about witchcraft, wiccanism (sic), etc. She's conflating 2 completely different things. I know nothing about these spiritual practices and even I knew that as soon as she mentioned satanic she was clueless.

It sounded like a fanciful tale from the very beginning. She's a serial liar. The fanatical fundies often tell lies about things like Satanism to reinforce their nonsensical dogma. Sounds just like what this cretinette might have done.

9. I can't fathom the demographic she thought her comments would snag
Politicians will usually throw out coy regular-guy talking points about smoking dope, or marital troubles, or whatever.

But this one stumps me

Ditto this statement...give me a witch any day over someone who is a Satinist, I wouldn't think they would have a picnic on the alter..but that is a possibility.

14. Translation is needed.
By 'witchcraft' she means 'satanism' by 'date' she means 'fuck' and by 'picknicked on' she means 'did drugs off of'.

16. Okay, so witchcraft doesn't
involve Satan worship. Too bad no one told the Puritans that at the onset of the Salem witch trials. All those accused of witchcraft were said to have had dealings with the Devil.

17. So she dated a witch on a satanic altar? Do I have that correct?
Somehow, I feel Christine is dragging witches and satan worshippers down a level just by her being slightly associated with both groups in the past.

23. Besides, Satanism isn't a valid religion
It's just a reaction to stifling "Christian values". "Satanism" wouldn't even exist without the Bible explaining who Satan was.

Wicca however, is an ancient belief system that PREDATES Christianity. Wiccans don't even BELIEVE in Satan.

I HATE it when the media confuses the two.

24. My roomie & I used to sunbathe on the marble slabs in a cemetery
near our dorm.. It was creepy but refreshingly quiet.

We did not think of ourselves as blasphemers & evil girls, but I guess we were.. but then there was no witchcraft:)

25. Well, to be accurate, there are some traditions that might get confused...
IoT and OTO, for example, have rites and rituals that Christians would confuse with Satanism (OTO and Thelema offshoots even more so, because of Baphomet.)

26. I'm guessing she lost her virginity on the altar in some sort of ritual...
That might explain the "little blood" aspect of the comment, which is pretty surprising to me. Bloodplay is pretty serious stuff...

She may have dabbled in something but it obviously didn't take. Look at her now, an intolerant Repub Tea Partier who appears to be a Palin clone.

Off topic thought, How can they have Palin clones, I thought cloning was illegal.
