Even pastor’s old church condemns Quran-burning

It's increasingly looking as though the only spiritual or political figure who will not denounce Florida pastor Terry Jones' plan to commemorate Sept. 11 by burning copies of the Quran is Jones himself. Wednesday brings the news that even the church Jones founded in Germany in the 1980s is condemning the upcoming Quran-burning at his small place of worship in Gainesville, Fla.

"We are surprised and shocked at the extreme radicalism being displayed right now on this issue," Stephan Baar of the Christian Community of Cologne told the Associated Press. The 60-member church kicked out Jones in 2008. Jones' estranged daughter says the eviction arose from her father's reported penchant for dipping into the church's till to pay his own expenses.

1. Every elected Democrat needs to sign a statement
condemning this. Repukes are silent on the issue. When it goes wrong for the teabaggers (and it will), Dems need to be on the record.

2. This joker is getting far too much media attention
If the sensitivities of Muslims was as much as issue as the media pretends it to be they would stop broadcasting this incessantly.

They want trouble because trouble = ratings.

6. Exactly. And that's pretty much what Hillary Clinton said...
She hopes it doesn't happen, but if it does, that it won't get publicity. This does nothing but foment hate. It's indefensible to support it or spread the word about it. x(

1. Keep an eye out for obnoxious driver.

2. Recognize when they're about to do something stupid.

3. Evade as required.

4. Give them the finger when convenient.

5. Continue to original destination.

Anymore attention than that and you're risking a road rage incident. Just carry on with your own life and be happier for it.

5. Just a good flooding would do.
If God wants to send a message she should send heavy rain for the day. ;)
