The watchdog group Media Matters says extremist reactionary right-wing media are increasingly depicting workers and their unions as thugs, communists and destroyers of free enterprise. Media Matters says media conservatives are relentless in their war against labor unions, blaming them for a wide variety of economic and social ills. Media Matters says that’s despite experts who have credited unions with establishing many of the fundamental and valued features of today’s society that paved the road to the middle class for millions of working families.

2. where are our guys, telling us that this is Scrooge's opinion?
where are our billionaires & millionaires footing the bill, funding a media network, believing in our cause enough to stay with us in the red, to keep by our side, no matter what?

4. Put aside the stupidity of "individuals can achieve more on
their own," and follow this idea: When unions are gone, who will speak for the workers in legislatures and the Congress. Not enough workers realize that one of the great benefits of a union is the access that they get to lawmakers and policy makers. Without unions, no one would be able to stand up for workers.

I think that management can tolerate collective bargaining. What they don't like is workers having influence in legislation.

6. J. Justin Wilson
actually signed up here to give me a piece of his mind a couple of months ago:

I'm glad whenever someone exposes this group for the right-wing hacks that they are. I've seen more than one DUer use their website as a source for "facts" to bash teachers and I can only assume they use it for other workers too.

7. Unions made peoples lives better and they need to attack....
that concept before it takes hold again. Call it a pre-emptive strike.
