Dave more than LENO. I thought Lawrence O'DONNELL was like a guest/temp. Judy SHEINDLIN is a robbery in progress. Or it might be they all are. Meanwhile, good on Chelsea HANDLER and Joel McHALE needs more.

1. being unemployed and barely making it myself, this
does not sit well with me. I know I shouldn't judge, and I shouldn't begrudge another human being the living he or she makes, but damn. This is ridiculous.

5. & they yuk it up while basically READING aloud.
As for the "artistic" entertainers, jumping around and baring it all, Engineering majors used to gripe about the disparities in earnings. And a hard laboring dude, after seeing a steamy scene on t.v., said that "stars" is another word for prostitution.

4. I can't believe the guy from Amazing race makes less than a Jersey Shore player
He is a huge part of that shows success and he is both nicer and cuter than she is.

6. Does that mean Rachel makes less than $500,000?
since Spitzer is on the list at $500,000 and Rachel is not. Why wouldn't she make more than O'Donnell?

Paging Lilly Ledbetter ...

7. It's easy to see why there's so much coverage of economic impacts on middle class.
FWIW: Snooki makes more per episode than most real journalists do in a year.

8. Gives new meaning to GNP..........
"Gross" National Product!

While corporations have been "downsizing," and outsourcing, leaving millions of Americans without, corporations now deemed.....persons by the Supremes, corporate dollars go to pay for talking heads and boob-tube reality shows such as Housewives of ?????, Morons of New Jersey Shore, The daily lives of Women breeders, etc., etc. This is what America has become???? Top it all off by letting all the new millionaires keep the George W. Bush tax break!!!! This ain't my American.

9. Mine, neither, GoldenOldie.
Journalism as entertainment means the same thing as bread & circuses to the Roman empire. Keep the rubes' attention fixed on the shiny thing and they won't even notice as the system transmutes from republic to empire. And academia? They work for the same turds Fareed Zakaria services.

We don't have to turn back the clock to bring America back. We just have to wrest the remote control out of the cold, dead hands of Corporate McPravda.
