Ted Nugent came to town
Ted Nugent came to Dubuque the other day to spread his hate of those who don't look, act, think, or believe as he does around;

Musician Ted Nugent made racially tinged remarks throughout his show Thursday night at the Mississippi Moon Bar in the Diamond Jo.

Within a few minutes of starting, Nugent commented on the race of his audience and the city of Dubuque.

"There's a lot of white people in this crowd -- I like that! (Dubuque) is a white town."

Nugent also pointed out at least one audience member and questioned his race.

So now the Diamond Jo is having to do some damage control. I wonder if this self righteous piece of work will be invited back anytime soon?

1. No wonder Hannity likes him so much.
Yes, Ted Nugent is a racist. Yes, he can continue to get away with it in today's Brave New World.

They all do now.

8. Sad thing is, if you are in the audience of a Ted Nugent show...
...you most likely agree with Racist Ted's perspective on liking "white people." Because anybody who pays for a ticket and willingly attends a Nugent show is most likely a FReeper-type wing nut, I cannot imagine any other demographic being interested in subjecting themselves to the absolute SHIT which is a "Ted Nugent Concert."

I'd rather attend a live performance of "Riverdance" than go to a Nugent show. I'd prefer standing in line at the Department of Motor Vehicles, than hearing even three bars of "Cat Scatch Fever." If I had to make a choice, Ted Nugent or fingernails-on-chalkboard, it's the latter, with no hesitation.

Just enough to keep my points from expiring. I usually don't play more than $5, and rarely win anything.

15. One great thing about Ted having been in your town
is that with the nonstop every night another tiny hall sort of tour the likes of Ted has to do to make a dime, you know that before dawn he is miles away, two days later he is two dives gone from your lovely town. Seeing him enter is seeing him leave, when he walks off the stage he is already late for his next gig. In a bus. For peanuts.
