Kind of scary to see how the rest of the test takers did when you finish. This is a Pew Research Center quiz. They call it an "IQ quiz" but I think it is less about IQ and more about paying attention to the world around us.

5. Answered my own question in a way:
34% know TARP was under Bush, not Obama.

28% got the Chief Justice of SCOTUS right.

We are so screwn.

I got the question on the European bailout wrong. I put Germany and it was Greece. I knew as soon as I hit it, I should have put Greece!! I think they should compare these results with FOX viewers!!!

15. I knew that many people here on DU would do well. All of these
questions were basic current events questions. Informed, or uninformed. LOL, you are right about Leno---I laugh at the people, but then think "oh my god". I always hope that he goes through hours of taping to find these few minutes of idiots.

to my teabagger friends at just how much of history they don't know. Simple stuff. The one's I'm thinking of could never get more than 2 or 3 of these questions right. Sad.

It's just statistics in a multiple choice test. If it was a fill in the answer test tea baggers might not get any question right, not the ones I know anyway.

We should be running the world, but we are too busy posting on DU. :)

What I meant -- this quiz was easy compared to that one that someone posted last week. It had a bunch of tough economic questions and I missed all of those. I do not like to miss questions on tests! LOL This one was way more fun.

33. He has not been prime minister long. Took office on
May 11, 2010. I admit that I did not know it for sure either, but did know that the other 3 were NOT right. So I really lucked into that one.

and can see people forgetting if it was this year or last year that health care was passed since most of it passed before Jan but it took until March to finish up the little details.

58. question 4's result is all the more striking since there were only 2 choices
meaning that if a population was merely guessing it would be expected that 50% would get it right. The only other question that did worse than mere guessing was the PM of Britain.
