President Obama to appear on daytime talk show 'The View'
:woohoo:
I hope he gives Elizabitch Hasselbitch hell....:hi:

----------------------------------------
CNN) -- President Barack Obama will appear on the daytime talk show "The View" Thursday.

The interview, scheduled to be taped on Wednesday, will touch on topics including his administration's accomplishments, jobs, the economy, the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster and family life inside the White House.

Obama last appeared on the ABC program in March 2008, while he was a U.S. senator. He also was a featured guest in November 2004, when promoting his book, "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance." His wife, Michelle Obama, was a featured guest co-host in June 2008.

23. Obama was on Leno as President
Obama has been on Leno's show as president:

on googling this question I came across this info too but it was as they were campaigning not as presidents :

Bush was on Oprah and Letterman
Obama was on Tonight Show and Letterman
Gore was on Tonight Show when he was V.P
Clinton on Letterman

29. it wasn't presidential for FDR to go on the radio or Eisenhower to do press conferences on TV
not until they did it was it presidential.

that it has not been done before doesn't make it a bad thing.

think about that.

this is probably a step up (though a very small step) from the cesspool of faux. x( :puke: I still don't think he should lower himself to go on the View though.

16. Yes it does
I don't know he would to appear on a show like that, I think it cheapens the presidency.

33. no it doesn't
the presidency is a job and a primary duty of the job is to communicate.

and tv is a way to communicate and shows are a method of communicating on tv.

stop being limited by the way things have been done before.

be brave enough to have room for a new thought.

Edited on Tue Jul-27-10 10:37 AM by CreekDog
and Lincoln shouldn't have spoken extemporaneously.

criticism of those things came from geniuses preoccupied with being "presidential".
