I think we should have Rachael Maddow take over as the head of the Democratic Party. She is bright, Liberal and has the personality we need to move people to the polls. Listening to her program every night or catching her Podcasts make me believe we could have no better rudder.

because her ability to teach people what is really going on in the world is unmatched now that Moyers has retired. Were she to follow your suggestion, she'd just disappear into the bowels of party bureaucracy, surfacing too rarely to be able to make the type of difference she's undoubtedly making as a cable journalist.

I wish they'd move her to the Nightly News, broadcast news with a wider audience. That should be her position, not as a bureaucrat.
