I was optimistic about the Dems keeping the House and Senate until I watched the Rand Paul/Conway
debate.
I can't stand Rand Paul but it seems he had Jack Conway on the defensive during most of the debate.
Although Republicans deserve most of the blame for what has happened to this country, many people are fearful about the future, and it is easy for candidates on the right to serve up easy solutions and run against the status quo.
Most people still blame Republicans for the way things are. We will see if that is enough to overcome the voter's anger with Washington.
