bush as a bloodsucking leach on Tony Blair...

The one of bush leading republicans back to the Stone Age is especially noteworthy.

The one with the queen is funny but unrealistic, since we know he can't even define "sovereignty." Real bush quote: "Sovereignty is....sovereignty."

The cartoonists note bush also has something in common with Paris Hilton.

Is Wuerger a new cartoonist? I love his illustrations! Look how well he conveys body language. And the addition of color is nice, too.

The cartoon with "republicans" on the Iraq War Memorial, which looks like the Viet Nam Memorial, just says it all, doesn't it? Another one that cut straight to the heart is Uncle Sam looking in the mirror and an imperialist king is reflected.

I'm going to take Singer's "Republican Constituents" and print it off and send it to republicans, asking "Which one are you?"

5. This one made me smile:

My son fell asleep watching a movie with my husband night before last - in my place on the bed. Which is fine because I'm 8 and 1/2 months pregnant and I've been sleeping in a recliner since I can't get comfortable in a bed right now.

My husband told me that twice during the night, my son said, "Mommy," in his sleep.

That was the best Mother's Day present I got. :)
