They don't care if it becomes so hot that your hair sweats, they won't be here. They don't care if you can't breathe without a filter mask, they won't be here. They don't care if future generations are poisoned by the water they drink, they won't be here. They don't care if there is no food to eat, they won't be here. Today is the most important day of the rest of THEIR lives, fuck everyone else.


If what they do gives them instant gratification today, fine, enjoy it to excess. But worry about future generations, nah fuck 'em, let them fend for themselves. If they don't have the money to buy what they need from others like them, too bad, work in the places that make for them or take care of them, not to worry.

It isn't about their perception of the afterlife, it's that they have no purpose in this life, NO moral compass, nothing that gives them any reason to help those who are in need, or to do unto others as they would have them do unto themselves. As long as their asses are cool in summer, warm in Winter, and they can count their money, no problem. They are self-centered, and that is all that matters.

Drill baby drill, who cares if the sea is black, so we have to pay more from seafood from somewhere else. But what happens when the entire world's oceans are eventually affected? What happens when lifeforms can't live there any longer? What happens when the rain catches fire?

They are beings from another dimension living in our dimension. How they got here is beyond my comprehension. Or is this purgatory, and they are on the doorstep to hell?


I wish they would leave and let us manage the planet.

15. I have another theory. They "care" enough to want control.

They want the power to determine the value of other people's future, and choose to help only the people or groups who they see are worthy of it. In turn, they want the power to ruin other people's lives. This goes for corportists who thrive off high unemployment, religious nuts who want to churchify schools and social programs, and libertarians who simply don't give a shit about social obligations.
