Interesting Aftermath Contrast - McChrystal vs Helen Thomas

Two people shoot their mouths off with incredibly stupid comments and both are fired, but pay attention to the comments being made by the pundits and repeaters regarding McChrystal's comments. There is quite a stark contrast.

Yes, they are two different things, but both people had long careers that flamed out because of runaway mouths.

But what is the most disturbing part to me is the somewhat lack of focus on here we had supposedly one of the highest ranking personnel, supposedly having supreme intelligence making an incredibly stupid mistake. I mean, this guy is supposed to be one of the very best and goes on the record like this??!? What does that say?

1. I think we know the difference. One criticized that which we dare

not criticize. The other, the CIC, but given he is a black democrat, is open season.

2. Says to me he knew he was screwing the pooch in Afghanistan

and needed to get out from under the responsibility for it, so he created this diversion to get his ass canned.

Now he is free to appear on every right wing radio and cable program and blame the entire clusterfuck on Obama and his administration.

I'm betting he shows up on Fox tonight to start the propaganda blitz.

Helen Thomas? She gave an honest opinion, albeit somewhat undiplomatically.

When I read his profile and say that he only sleeps 4 hours a night and eats one meal a day, I thought to myself, why are major decisions being made by someone so sleep deprived and malnutritioned. Its pure macho bravado, not intellect at all.
