FBI questions woman after she protests pro-Palestine
An American mother of 5 gives the Task
Force Division of the FBI a piece of her mind when they knock on her
door to question her about Palestine activism!

1. She handled them beautifully. But I've got to wonder...
...how many pro-Israel activists were questioned.

2. That was very enlightening. But to say the pretext was a phone call,

that someone knew her and called them to suggest that she might "know" something?

I would think it more likely that they were doing surveillance, id'd her as well as others, and visited her. But, of course, they don't have to tell the truth.

13. All cops at all levels are professional liars
It's in the job description.

Never expect a cop to tell the truth about anything.

3. I'd like to know that also. Good for her for standing
up for her rights. But there is something very wrong in this country when this kind of thing happens at all. And when it happens in a selective way. I think the firing of Helen Thomas as begun to truly anger many Americans eg. If she had been talking about Palestinians she would not have been fired, and people want to know why Americans are not provided with real news, with both sides of that story eg. And as you asked, why was this woman singled out?

7. Unfotunatey, there aren't 'many' Americans who even know who Helen is....
...or care about events outside their personal space.

11. True, but reading around the internet I was surprised
at the reaction to what happened to her and how many people weighed in on the comments attached to eg, the WAPO article about here. Support for her was over 92% with most of the comments expressing disgust at how our media is so slanted, and at the silencing of a journalist. You can read about it here http://journals.democraticunderground.com/sabrina%201/70

I think more people know about her now than might have several years ago. The point is though that silencing people through fear and intimidation should not be happening in this country and I am glad that this woman stood up against it.

5. Not only were none ot THOSE people questioned
but one of them probably turned this woman in.

...as if what she'd said was a crime or something.

10. This lady does a great job.
They left knowing no more than they did when they knocked on her door. I like that. :)
