Maybe the Republican Party should be recognized as a terrorist organization
Sharon Angle is encouraging people to take up arms against Harry Reid should he win the election. You have that Congressional Candidate from Alabama running an advertisement talking about an armed insurrection against the federal government. Steve King's rhetoric is encouraging whites to hate an entire group of people - African Americans. Isn't this what terrorist organizations do?

2. At least the idiots advocating armed insurrection.
They should already be locked up. The two mentioned in the OP, plus Bachmann, Palin, and anyone else who openly threatens violent overthrow of the government, should be arrested for their crimes. The threatening statements are on the record. Why are these people still running around free?

3. If there was a shred of honesty in our policy toward terrorists, yes.
The right is definitely meeting every one of the criteria. But of course they are given a pass because, well, they wave flags.

6. I've been saying this for YEARS
I've been saying that the republican party is the most despotic organization in the history of this planet, and can easily...EASILY!!... be taken down with a few well-placed RICO statutes. It isn't just about red state redneck rhetoric, but about the very real, domestic terrorism the republican party and its minions have perpetuated against millions of people throughout our country and affected the lives of over a billion people to the point where they are now permanently and disparingly against the United States.

The republican party is worse than the Nazi party, the despotic elements of the Stalin regime, and the hordes of Ghengis Khan... COMBINED. They STILL ARE.

The republican party needs to be taken out like a rabid dog. Period.

In fact, here is the first story in a long series. The thread has been locked, because many people on DU do not have the canojes to handle the truth...but if you seethe with raging, eternal hatred like I do for everything conservative, everything capitalist, and everything republican, then you will understand. My second installment will be out on Monday, by the way.

Take an hour and read the earlier posts, and be educated.

7. They are no less traitors than the Confederates were
The only difference between these "Tea Party" assholes and the Confederacy is that there aren't enough of them concentrated in enough states to secede. Doesn't stop people like Rick Perry and Todd Palin from drooling at the thought, though.

8. Now I'm for identifying the individuals and cults within the organization
who do preach terrorism and treason. Just because they claim to belong to a political party doesn't give them immunity. It would be a stretch to condemn the whole party though.
