What is it with teabaggers constantly bringing up Rule #5 of Alinsky's Rules for Radicals?

Can you say that you have not seen or heard teabaggers say "Obama/Liberals/Democrats are ridiculing/demonizing/making fun of us, they're playing rule #5 from Alinsky, proof that they are radicals! Radicals! Radicals!"?

I feel like I have to pay a visit to optometrist every single time I see someone saying this, because I think that there is something wrong inside my retina to see someone get away with this without being shot down like the nut they are every time this is said.

Do they really think that there was no ridiculing of the other guy before Alinsky? Was Reagan's "There you go again" to Carter just a fabrication of the liberal media? Was it just a myth that extreme supporters of John Quincy Adams started a whisper campaign to say that Andrew Jackson had an illegitimate child?

These guys are winning primaries, just let that sink in for a second.
