"To those affected...."
This single one phrase from that ridiculous BP apology ad just makes me see red everytime it is broadcasted. Realization that this apology was cobbled together with a legal team just irks me to no end. Only those who choose not to see understand that the entire world is affected by this oil disaster. That it sends out tentacles like those plumes in the deep sea to all via damage to the environment and economic infrastructure. What I want to see backlash around is not, what I think the President and government is trying to do, but this attitude that parsing language absolves corporations of responsibility, moral and legal, for the damage they do.

who have lost their lives in the explosion or their livelihood. I have not been affected nearly to the extent of many.
