Many wingnuts haven't had an original thought, if ever, in years. Most get the talking points and they stick to them like "gospel". If this means doing double backflips, jumping several sharks and a full double axel, so be it. They're so insulated into their arrogance and ignorance, they can't and won't dare see how stupid or foolish they sound.

The GOOP has cultivated the "big lie"...say it enough times and people will believe it. Makes life a lot easier when you can spew a knee-jerk talking point than to think things through. It allows you to cut corners and pick and choose how the issue is framed. And it's been effective enough to put some real dangerous and manipulative people in power...and sadly, it will again.
