For a while it looked like the robotic hands were just tugging at different cables and things without actually doing anything.

Now we're seeing what looks like some kind of weight on a chain. I suspect they're not actually doing anything at the moment and that what we're currently seeing is just where the camera happens to be pointing.

7. Seems obvious to me. They are recovering buoyancy modules.

I found that caption a little hard to read but that is what it says.

When they were tugging and probing they were probably checking that things were connected properly and the connections were tight, etc.

At the moment there doesn't appear to be anything within view of the ROV camera, but they may be in the process of raising the modules.
