Weird things happen as a result of an innocent action!

Alan Colms interviewed Laura Ling, one of the 2 journalists captured by the North Koreans for trespassing, on his radio show this AM. She explained that the main reason they were finally released was because Kim Jung Ill wanted to eet & have a photo opp with Bill Clinton. He said that BC was the first person to call him when his father died, even before his own people, and he always liked & respected him for that. He wanted to meet him eve since. So for a phone call, that the Republicans would have criticized him for making, had a quite unforeseable good result.

I found this story very remarkable. Even a person that most of the World think of as a real AH can b reached by decent human treatment.

It's that BC did something nice, AND probably part of protocall, and certainly BC never houghtat the time his call was any more than that, but years in the future, that gesture enabled the release of 2 young ladies who were very grateful. KJI is still the evil dictator he was.
