World Bank fed up with Wolfowitz. They don't want to listen to any lame excuse he might give them.
The World Bank's executive directors have rejected a request by their embattled president, Paul Wolfowitz, to explain his role in a deal that sent his girlfriend to a new job at the State Department with a hefty pay raise, a source close to the probe told CNN Tuesday.

4. It just goes to show you
what crybabies these "leaders" are. Paul Wolfowitz has positively no shame, none whatsoever. He just doesn't get subtleties, let alone a finger pointed at the 'EXIT' sign above. He just doesn't get it.

I've read some of his justifications, his defenses. It really shows that these people are dysfunctional beyond belief, they live & breathe dysfunction 24/7. They are in fact 'victims'; there's no strength to these guys.

5. I heard somebody on TV yesterday say that there's a rumor Blair
might replace Wolfie at the WB. I don't know how good the rumor is, but I thought it was interesting.

6. No European has ever held the post, right?
Why would Bush tolerate even Tony Blair denying the US its respect due from the world?

7. He's a neocon parasite...
These neocons are loathe to give up positions of power.
His removal will likely be reminiscent of pulling a deer tick from a dog.
