Who is more evil? Cheney or Gingrich? I just can't decide.
Cheney, for all his faults, never comes across as anything but vile and reptilian. Gingrich, in contract, has a good "company face" and an easy smile that enables his defenders to cast him as a friendly guy who just wants What's Best For America.

Not to mention the fact that so much of what Bush/Cheney accomplished (indeed, the presidency and PNCA themselves) likely wouldn't have been possible without Newt's beloved Contract on America. And let's not forget that Gingrich has written some awful, awful novels.

So, when you get right down to it, which one of these pit-spawned wretches is more purely evil?

I just can't decide. But maybe that's because I'm part of the dangerous secular/socialist agenda.

3. When you see Cheney, if you were to take a look at his backside, you'd discover Gingrich.
Any photos of them together are using body-doubles.

Prove me wrong.

5. Cheney ...
Gingrich was Speaker and used his position and power to maximum effect. Cheney used the vice-presidency, an upper level but in many regards a paper tiger in terms of power, to actually dictating policy.

6. Cheney... doesn't even think he needs to make a pretense...
at being anything but what he is. The living embodiment of a sociopath, that one.

10. a power poll on RW power men would be interesting
In order, which is the most evil and can cause the most damamge? I would say Cheney, because of his access to power to actually do something.
I will take a stab at it:
1) Cheney
2) Limbaugh - he says jump and 3 million crazies jump. He disagrees with a Repug pol and that pol is on his knees at Rushies feet the next day.
3) The Dick of Armey.
4) Koch brothers (who fund the dick Armey)
5) Sarry Palin. Her followers are fucking crazy and rarin' to go
6) Yertl the McConnell - wrecking the country one obstruction at a time.
7) Ben Gleck - er - Glenn Beck. Hope I didn't make him cry. His followers believe any fucking thing he says.
8) Sean Hannity - lyingest mofo around. But looks good doing it.
9) Rand Paul - just moved up. Now the spokesprick for the libertarianskis
10) Ronald Reagan - hard to believe a man 6 years dead can cause so much trouble. His myth gets bigger every year.

others receiving votes: Huckabee, Gingerich, Bachmann, Pawlenty, Ohio Orange, Goehring - not sure which one.

9. I have always had a special contempt for Newt-he is walking slime in a suit.
But even before the W era brought us Cheney and Rove, we had a few of Newt's contemporaries who stank as much as he did, such as Trent Lott. THe GOP seems to produce this kind of pompous trash with great regularity, and some people actually like and respect them. Gives you the chills, doesn't it...or the dry heaves...:puke:

12. With apologies to William Shakespeare
Edited on Fri May-21-10 09:39 AM by rocktivity
Some men are born evil (like Cheney), some achieve evilness (like Rove), some have it thrust upon them (like Georgie). I say that Gingrich aspires to be evil, but will never achieve it because he's not smart enough.

13. Cheney by quit a bit
First of all because he's held more power than Gingrich ever did. And because what he did with that power was totally reprehensible.

Yes if Gingrich ends up being the voice of the Republican Party he could eventually do more damage than Cheney; but as it stands right now Cheney gutted the constitution in his pursuit of executive power.
